Janathon Day 31 | 5.00km | 27:05

31 01 2011

Well that’s it.  It’s over.  I was actually quite sad whilst blasting out my 5km tonight on the treadmill.  Sad because I do actually think I’m going to miss Janathon.

My aim tonight was to do a minimum of 4km, so that I could reach a nice round figure of 105 miles in Janathon, I actually pushed out 5km in a sweet 27:05 which, if my calculation are right makes my pace at 5:25m/km which is my fastest of Janathon – Nice finish!

I must admit though, that the versy second the treadmill started rolling, my face lit up with the biggest grin, because I knew, no matter what happened from that secon onwards, i have completed Janathon, as as I write this blog post now (knowing that i’ve already logged it on running free) I know that I have acheived what i set out to do…

…Run every day

…Log every day

…Blog every day

Proud….. I am.

Knackered….. I am.

Looking forward to Juneathon….. erm, I’ll let you know ;-)

Thanks to all for your support and encouragement during Janathon.  thanks to Cathy (JogBlog) for arranging such a brilliant event, thanks to Sean @ Audiofuel for just being Sean, and thanks to my wife for putting up with me and my incessant running.

Bye for now…. Rich aka The Fitographer.

Yes, fantastic isn’t it. But there’s nothing wrong with everyone running and blogging (even if it’s not every day)….?

No Mike, absolutely nothing wrong with that at all.

Juneathon is way more fun, way harder to commit to, way hotter and has to be done. And at only 30 days, that bit shorter too…see you there!
